Welcome to Summit

Miss
Christie: Miss Christie has been teaching tap, jazz, ballet and musical theater for the past 8 years. She has had the privilege of studying at the Alberta Ballet, New York City's American Musical and Dramatic Academy as well as the Broadway Dance Center. She is a member in good standing with the Canadian Dance Teachers Association. Once again Miss Christie will be continuing her professional development in New York City over the summer studying with such greats as Bob Rizzo, Seán Curran, Finis Jhung, and Greg Russell just to name a few! Miss Christie is excited to start any other year and looks to forward to seeing new faces as well as old. |

Miss Lindsay: Miss Lindsay has been teaching at Summit for the past 5 years going onto year number 6 teaching a bit of everything from Ballet to Hip Hop. Every year she is blessed with young talented students and she looks forward to each and every class. Seeing the children enjoy the art of dance and knowing they will walk away having accomplished so much brings so much joy to her life. Being able to pass on everything she has learned throughout her years of dancing and teaching makes everyday very special for her. Working with children, young and old has always been a passion for Miss Lindsay, she has had amazing opportunities to teach in other countries such as India and she can't wait to kick off another amazing year at Summit. "Dare to dance, dare to dream." |
Miss Amanda: Miss Amanda has been dancing at Summit for the past five years and has been student teaching as well as substitute teaching for two years. She has competed in many competitions coming away with many awards. She is looking forward to teaching her own classes and can't wait to share all her knowledge with your children. Outside of dance Miss Amanda is attending Mount Royal College on her way to becoming a nurse. She is hoping to work at the children's hospital. She loves working with children and can't wait to get to know all her students and watch them grow into wonderful dancers. She has worked very hard to get to where she is today and can't wait to see your children accomplish their dreams. Miss Amanda will be taking her Canadian Dance Teachers examinations this year, be sure to cheer her on! |

Miss Natalie: Miss Natalie will be starting her second year with Summit teaching ballet. Miss Natalie started her ballet carer taking classes at Summit and loved it so much that she had to become a teacher! She joined Miss Christie in New York this past summer to expand her knowledge and skills and is very excited to share these new things with her students. Miss Natalie is also a member in good standing with the Canadian Dance Teachers Association. Congratulate her as she has completed all of her requirements for her professional examinations. Way to go Miss Natalie! |
